*Cinnamon-Rock-Candy*


**Ingredients

+Makes: Approximately 48 candy bars
° 1 cup powdered sugar
°3 3/4 cup sugar
°1 12 cups pure corn syrup
°1 cup water
°2 tbsp. Cinnamon oil
°1 c. red food coloring

*Preparation steps

Preparation: 15 minutes › Cooking: 45 minutes › Overtime: 1 hour Cooling › Ready in: 2 hours

Roll the sides of two squares of heavy-duty aluminum foil, 40 cm each. Sprinkle the paper generously with powdered sugar.
In a large, heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. Stop stirring and simmer until a candy thermometer immersed in the mixture reads 300 to 310 F (149 C to 154 C). Take off the fire.
Add cinnamon oil and food coloring. Pour the hot syrup onto the prepared paper and allow to cool and firm. Break the candy into pieces and store in an airtight container.
