Southern Caramel Cake

*ingredients :

°1 cup butter.
°2 cups of sugar.
°4 eggs.
°3 cups of self-raising flour.
°1 cup of milk.
°2 teaspoons vanilla.
°Southern cream caramel recipe (double the recipe).

*instructions :

In a mixing bowl, beat butter with sugar and stir for 8 minutes.
Mix the eggs one at a time, then add the flour alternately with the milk.
Pour in the vanilla and whisk until well blended.
Prepare 3 9-inch cake pans and pour batter evenly into pans.
In a preheated 350 degree oven, bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Transfer cake to cooling racks.
Make the southern caramel frosting according to package directions, then icing the cake once it has cooled.
