*SCALLOPED-POTATOES!*


I cook them a lot because they are so easy to prepare and can be made in advance. This dish always looks 'as beautiful as a picture' when it comes out of the oven!

* Ingredients

° 1/4 liter contains sour cream
° A cup with a capacity of 130 ml contains milk
° Extra chopped chives, optional
° 1/2 teaspoon salt
° 1/4 teaspoon pepper
° 15 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into 2/3-inch thick slices
° 1/4 liter contains shredded cheddar cheese
° 130 ml contains finely ground corn flakes
° Extra chopped chives, optional
 
* Preparation :

In a large bowl, combine sour cream, milk, chives, salt, and pepper, add potatoes and mix well, spread in 15 x 10 x 1-inch casserole dish, mix cheese and cornflakes. Sprinkle over potatoes and bake at 350°C for 50 to 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender, sprinkling more chives if desired.
