Woolworth Cheesecake


°1 three ounces. Lemon Jelly 0
°1 cup boiling water
°1 packet graham cracker crumbs (three cups) greater for a thick crust, divided
°1 piece of melted butter
°1 eight oz cream cheese
°1 cup granulated sugar
°five tablespoons lemon juice
°1 can evaporated milk, nicely cooled or 1 half cups heavy whipping cream

Dissolve the gel in boiling water. Cool till barely thickened.
Mix three/four graham crackers and melted butter till nicely blended, and press into the lowest of a 9×thirteen skillet to shape a crust. Reserve the relaxation of the crumbs and sprinkle over the dessert.
Beat evaporated milk/heavy cream till fluffy.
In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and lemon juice with a mixer till smooth.
Add the thickened Jell-O and slowly blend it into the whipped evaporated milk.
Spread the filling over the crust and sprinkle with the reserved graham crackers.
Refrigerate as a minimum 2 hours and as much as overnight, and save blanketed withinside the refrigerator.
